The Hinsdale AfterSchool Program is part of a district afterschool initiative funded by the 21st Century Grant.
Our mission is to “…keep kids safe, help families, and inspire learning…”
OUR GOALS
Increase academic achievement
Provide a safe environment nurturing youth development through community collaboration
Increase access to family literacy and additional opportunities for adult educational enrichment
ACCESS grew out of the communities and schools coming together over the need for quality and accessible programming before and after school as well as throughout the summer. Our diverse group of partners includes: human and social service providers, wellness providers and other out-of-school programs.
Who is ACCESS?
ACCESS is made up of many different community members. Teachers, para-professionals, parents, high-school teachers, Americorps VISTA volunteers.

Hinsdale Community Coalition (HCC)
The Hinsdale Prevention Coalition (HPC) has changed its name. They're now the Hinsdale Community Coaltion (HCC).
Visit the HCC website for news and info on how to keep your family safe from the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse as well as for news about events going on in Hinsdale.
